Your reasoning is not all bad, until you start tileing and you hit a rock-and your hundreds of feet away from your tap hole. You mentioned tap holes, so I assume your going to be tileing too. If you are going to spend that kind of money, consider at least a 10,000 - 12,000 lb machine (IMO ). The problem is, you will want to use it for so many other uses - beside tile connections. Also thought about a loader backhoe but thought a mini would be a little more handy. I thought about a bigger excavator like a 120 or so but I would like something a little more easy to haul and not so spendy to fix. Just wondering what experences you guys have had, don't want to buy one and find out its to small.
I know they go slow but I can trailer it from spot to spot. would this be big enough for locating tile and starting the hole for new runs.
